The second part of my new post series is finally done! This week I wanna talk to you about the preferable and suitable looks for a job interview!
My mom goes crazy whenever I have a job interview. She has this old fashioned idea of how an appropriate interview look should be that I’ve always found boring..
So over the years, and after countless interviews, I came to the conclusion that there is always a way to create a fashionable look for an interview that is true to your personal style and of course doesn’t age you!
The classic trench coat
It has to be the number one accessory and the absolute must have in a girl’s closet for winter. It’s light enough to show your silhouette but it covers a large part of your body and gives a classy look. It also looks expensive especially if you invest in a well made piece. Continue reading
Another Athens Xclusive Designers week has ended and I would like to share my thoughts with you. For Athens this is a celebration of fashion, femininity and inspiration. For me it’s a great opportunity to see up in close and personal all these amazing new Greek designers and enjoy some healthy competition too in the annual new designers awards! So first of all I would like to congratulate this year’s winners : F. Erotokritos, Lisa &Kira and Sinister and show you how Greek fashion looks like for ss15!
Girly, flirty, provocative, sexy, ethnic are just few words to describe it!
It’s mid September guys so we all start looking for autumn clothes! I’m not a huge fan of cold weather and I rarely enjoy winter vacations so usually shopping for warmer clothes is my least favorite shopping. But this year I have a more prestigious job so my clothes need to be upgraded a bit!
I will be posting by the end of this month my new work outfits but for now I will share my no1 key piece for an autumn look: the cardigan.
I cannot even estimate how many different cardigans I had over the past 5 years and even now it’s quite embarrassing to admit the number I currently have. The reason is simple: I love comfort style. I prefer the simplicity of a colored cardigan with a white shirt than any other office look. Even with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt the cardigan is my favorite choice. On a chilly day is the perfect coverage over a short sleeve shirt, on a winter’s day a long cardigan worn as a dress is awesome with knitted leggings and even for a night out a vivid colored cardigan is superb over your little black dress.
So here’s my cardigans wishlist for this autumn! What do you think?
It’s been a while since I finished school but I would like to share with you some nice fashion tips for your new school year. I used to be the ugly duckling at school. I was wearing mainly sports clothes and trainers and obviously I wasn’t wearing any makeup. But then again, these were different times! So many things have changed during this time. Girls begin to explore their femininity sooner and are in need of feeling good about themselves. Sometimes I wish things were different while I was growing up. My generation could use some school fashion back in the 90’s !!
When it came to inspiration we used to watch Beverly Hills and copy some looks (in these few rare times when we dressed a bit less than a toddler!). But now girls have so many tv shows to get inspired by and so many models, singers and actresses to look up too.
So if I was 16 now and just about to go to school these are the looks I would be inspired by :
Pretty little liars
I would probably mix the styles of all five girls, depending on my mood! Hannah’s look during the first 3 seasons was my favourite with all that glam but Spencer’s is the most amazing choice when you have a school presentation or you want to keep it casual but great.
Do I really have to explain it?? Which amazingly fashionable character do I have to pick? Serena, Blair, Jenny .. Even Blair’s minions where dressed like they were going to fashion week! Still this particular style is a bit more dramatic for us not living at the upper east side, but you can easily get inspired by it!
This has to be the closest option for a school look that is simple yet eye catching! Tight skinny jeans, loos flurry shirts, country style dresses with cowboy boots and simple makeup!
So, from which shows you get inspired for your school looks?
Since I was not lucky enough to get invited I’ve been watching over and over the video on youtube from the Chanel fall-winter 2014/15 fashion show that took place on July 8th, at Grand Palais in Paris. Have you seen it? OMG! I have no words on how Karl once more manage not only to keep the legendary haute couture house to the top,but also put his own signature to it in the most fashionable way possible.
The venue was gorgeous, the catwalk huge and the clothes amazing! I have to say that my two favourite things were the coats and jackets and of course the bags!
I have to say that jackets were the perfect combination of classic meeting modern and chic! And the coats were so luxurious that if I ever had the opportunity to get one of these I would put it on display and admire it for hours!!
Bags are obviously my favorite accessories and there are no words to describe the masterpieces Karl Lagerfeld created!

Hey guys!! Yesterday was my blog’s 6 month anniversary so I decided to celebrate it with some shopping this week! Unfortunately I couldn’t spend that much time at the stores so I did it gradually, just for an hour two different days!
So here is what I got!!
From American stars in McArthurGlen I bought these lovely handmade bracelets: Fatmas eye and the Greek blue eye for good luck and protection and a beautiful infinity foot bracelet!
My elephant bracelet and the gold-chains bracelet are from accessorize
I love wearing them all together during summer time!
Gorgeous brown bowling bag from Zara. The bag can be worn in summer or winter too! I took advantage of the pre-sales prices and got this bag for 30% off!
Another purchase from Zara is this simple yet sooo cute top! I like it because its loose. I think it will look great with a pair of jean shorts for a day look but with a long skirt for a more girly look!
The #love neckless from accessorize! I loved the idea so much that I was really sad when I found out that they didn’t have the bracelet too!
Last but not least another cute key-chain from accessorize! I think I have way more of these than keys but I just couldn’t resist!!
Now, Cannes festival is known for some powerful cinema moments. But for us girls it is also known as a great opportunity to see some amazing looks from actresses from Europe and of course Hollywood! Since the festival continues I will only share some of my fav looks for now! I can’t wait to see some more glamorous gowns!
Nicole Kidman in a fairy-tale Armani gown
Blake Lively in a Gucci burgundy dress
The lovely Zoe Saldana in a white Victoria Beckham
Eva Longoria in a gorgeous Saint Laurent
For the end of this post I chose a look from Salma Hayek, not for her dress but for her message!
