This post is really all about the Red Carpet looks I personally liked but let me please please make a comment first: Emma Stone‘s choice of pants for the carpet is the best thing we’ve seen in years! I always love her style (she has been in my well-dressed list in several occasions) so it’s no surprise I like this Louis Vuitton suit, but wearing pants is so unique for the Oscars that the internet is going crazy over it all night!
Chanel
oh Karl..
No words once again for my fashion soulmate! He went the extra mile yet again another time, creating a show worthy of his vision for the House.
Make sure you check their official YouTube video on their channel!
Gabrielle- the new Chanel Fragrance
let me say it from the start : Love the perfume, hate the ad!
I had been waiting for this moment for sooo long. I am a huge Chanel fan (who isn’t) and I wear Mademoiselle for more than five years and it is still my favorite perfume in the hole wide world. So of course when Chanel announced a new perfume after 15 (!!) years I was ecstatic! The perfume did not disappoint (dahh!) at all but the film of the campaign was something I wish I could forget. Don’t get me wrong, I now they put a lot of money and effort on that but I think Kristen Stewart as a Chanel ambassador is not the right choice and her ‘performance’ on the film is not complimenting the endeavor at all. The history behind the perfume and the fact that it is supposed to depict Coco in the most original way yet is also something that concerns me as I can’t “see” it in the film.
If you haven’t seen it yet here’s the video! let me know what you think guys!
Chanel @ The Ritz
Now you know im a Chanel girl, right? That is by far my dream brand (like from forever!!) and of course ever since Karl began working for Chanel i’ve been expecting their runway shows like kids expect Xmas!
This time their Pre-Fall collection was shown at the newly renovated Ritz Hotel in Paris ( always classic and elegant but this time more luxurius and fresh) and of course it was the talk of the town! So here are some of my favorite looks from the show!
Beauty products i can’t stop using :Summer edition
Happy July you all!!! i hope you’re having a wonderful time. Today i’ve decided to share with you my must have beauty products for summer.
Frezydrerm -Avene
Oily complexion gives me hard times even during summer. The heat, the makeup and the sunscreen don’t really make a good combo so I have to be extra careful! The ac-norm line of freezyderm is helping me big time to avoid new blackhead and oiliness breaks and leaves my skin very clean and soft. I use it in the morning (the foam) and at night I use the Avene cleanance gel. I use the peel off mask twice a week too for maximum results!
Chanel hair mist
Love love love loooooove this mist!!! The scent is amazing and I’ve been wanting this for so long and now that I got it I’m literally obsessed with it!!
Victoria secret body mist
I first bought this set last summer but it is officially one of my favorite ones, especially when traveling. During summer I avoid perfumes so this is a very good choice! I use the body lotion after showering and the mist to make it last longer and I’m ready to go!
Bio oil
I’ve talked to you about it before and I’m clearly not the only one, right? I use it all the time for my back (it’s oily too so if I scratch it then I have small marks which I want to get rid off like crazy!!) and I see a huge difference after just few days. It’s also very good for stretch marks!!
Panthenol cream
Day cream to the rescue!! It’s a very good, light day cream and it’s just what i want for summer.
Dettol shower gel
Designed to block sweat odor this shower gel is amazing for summer with all that heat! It’s also Dettol, one of my favorite cleaning brands ever!
Korres sun protection face
What’s a summer in Greece without a good sunblock?? Korres is one of my biggest beauty crashes and I’ve been using their sun protection series and after sun yogurt for years and I’m not changing it any time soon!
Elizabeth Arden 8h hand cream
Do I really need to explain myself on that one?? Elizabeth Arden’s 8h line is one of the best cream lines you can find. Hydrates the skin without all that heaviness and oiliness that other products have. When traveling I love taking this hand cream and use it as a body cream!
Konjac
I’ve already done a piece on Konjac sponge before. I keep using it fanatically and I see great difference on my face and neck. I think it helps a lot with cleaning deeper and more properly my skin and pores so I’ll keep using it this summer too!
Glam sleepover
Of course it can’t be a simple sleepover when Kendal,Gigi,Chanel and the Plaza are involved! Every girlsquad dream sleepover for Vogue!
