Oh what a joy!! Those of you following me for years know I’m a Red Carpet addict so of course I spent hours watching the Oscars and then checking my favorite websites for all the juicy details on the outfits!!!
This year was a “love it or hate it” kinda night. Some outfits were so gorgeous that could take your breath away, while others were a complete disaster. I found very few ‘just ok” looks but most of them (one way or the other) caught my eye.
so with no further ado, here are my most favorite gowns of the night!
Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton
Jennifer Lopez in Tom Ford
Amy Adams in Versace
Emilia Clarke in Balmain
Lady Gaga in Alexander McQueen
Danai Gurira in Brocks Collection
Helen Mirren in Schiaparelli Haute Couture

This post is really all about the Red Carpet looks I personally liked but let me please please make a comment first: Emma Stone‘s choice of pants for the carpet is the best thing we’ve seen in years! I always love her style (she has been in my well-dressed list in several occasions) so it’s no surprise I like this Louis Vuitton suit, but wearing pants is so unique for the Oscars that the internet is going crazy over it all night!
First Red Carpet of the year and I think 2017 is going to be a great year for fashion! Although it’s still January we saw bright colors and summer textures in most of the gowns. Very few looks were not worth mentioning – with so few no-nos finally!! – while it was the first time that it was sooo hard to pick my favorite looks! It was obvious that we had some winning colors as yellow stole the spotlight with many ladies having a preference for it this year.
Michael Kors was the winning designer of this year’s red carpet in my humble opinion, as two of his looks were in my top 10 looks of the night, one of them in yellow! Viola Devis wore this vivid yellow gown while Sienna Miller showed her incredible figure in this white dress.
How is everyone doing tonight?
i know what you have been waiting for: The best looks from last night’s Red Carpet! Many gorgeous ladies did their best to dazzle us but these are the looks that stole my heart this year!
So here we go!
You know i adore her so obviously she would be high on my list
I think it’s safe to say that this had been Emma’s week, if not month! One amazing look after the other on Red Carpets and so much style and attitude!
Usually I focus on street style when it comes to fashion icon of the week. But today I’d like to start with these two amazing Red Carpets looks!
You know how terrible is when you live in a totally different time zone than Golden Globes?? You have to stay up sooooo late in order to watch the red carpet! But if you’ve seen it you know it was worth it!!
For those who haven’t seen any pics from last night (where were you?????) here’s some of the most amazing looks and my fav gowns!!
I have to congratulate Helen Miller, not only for her impeccable style but also for the pen she was wearing and the sign #jesuischarlie holding in the red carpet!
