Award season has begun and we couldn’t be more excited about it! Red Carpet moments are the best obviously and E News once again gave us the full Red Carpet experience! Due to the time difference between Europe and the States I had to see it on the reruns few hours later but still! Here are some of my favorite looks!!
This was definitely one of the most political and personal Golden Globes ever. Many actresses wore black gowns and quite few actors also, in order to support the Time’s Up movement standing in solidarity with victims of sexual assault and harassment.Although in my personal opinion this action (and the hole movement’s publicity) is so long over due it is “better” late than never. The entire event was dominated by the #timesup movement with plenty celebrities giving empowering speeches on the matter.
Anyways, the red carpet was filled with amazing gowns and here are some of the ladies and outfits that popped my eye this year!!
First Red Carpet of the year and I think 2017 is going to be a great year for fashion! Although it’s still January we saw bright colors and summer textures in most of the gowns. Very few looks were not worth mentioning – with so few no-nos finally!! – while it was the first time that it was sooo hard to pick my favorite looks! It was obvious that we had some winning colors as yellow stole the spotlight with many ladies having a preference for it this year.
Michael Kors was the winning designer of this year’s red carpet in my humble opinion, as two of his looks were in my top 10 looks of the night, one of them in yellow! Viola Devis wore this vivid yellow gown while Sienna Miller showed her incredible figure in this white dress.
You know how terrible is when you live in a totally different time zone than Golden Globes?? You have to stay up sooooo late in order to watch the red carpet! But if you’ve seen it you know it was worth it!!
For those who haven’t seen any pics from last night (where were you?????) here’s some of the most amazing looks and my fav gowns!!
I have to congratulate Helen Miller, not only for her impeccable style but also for the pen she was wearing and the sign #jesuischarlie holding in the red carpet!
