First Monday of May we have something to look for! Met Gala is one of my favorite red carpets and undoubtedly one of the biggest fashion moments of the year. This year’s theme was Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination. As you can all imagine, this gives plenty of room for different interpretations so once again we saw some very elaborative clothes! Some celebrities took the theme a bit too literally while others more vague.
I really liked plenty of the outfits from the Red Carpet but I can only share the favorites! I have to tell you in advance that Anna Wintour was by far my favorite. I think this Chanel gown was her best Red Carpet moment in years! Also fell in love with Kate Bosworth’s Oscar De La Renta dress and the amazing veil!
Blake Lively in Versace
This post is really all about the Red Carpet looks I personally liked but let me please please make a comment first: Emma Stone‘s choice of pants for the carpet is the best thing we’ve seen in years! I always love her style (she has been in my well-dressed list in several occasions) so it’s no surprise I like this Louis Vuitton suit, but wearing pants is so unique for the Oscars that the internet is going crazy over it all night!
Hey Ladies! It’s Red Carpet season and SAG Awards has given as sooo many nice appearances!Today I’m sharing my favorite looks from the event!
Gold is the color of luxury, but sometimes it can look dated. That is not the case at all, as Holly’s Paule Ka gold gown looked amazing! I love the simplicity of the design and of course the pockets!
Everyone is talking about her drugstore makeup for the event but I have to say how much I love her dress! This hole 20’s vibe was so good in this Ralph & Russo gown! Red lipstick is a must in these cases (which by know we all know it is from Avon). My favorite thing about the look is the ear cuff she was wearing, giving a rock twist to this otherwise very elegant look. Continue Reading
This was definitely one of the most political and personal Golden Globes ever. Many actresses wore black gowns and quite few actors also, in order to support the Time’s Up movement standing in solidarity with victims of sexual assault and harassment.Although in my personal opinion this action (and the hole movement’s publicity) is so long over due it is “better” late than never. The entire event was dominated by the #timesup movement with plenty celebrities giving empowering speeches on the matter.
Anyways, the red carpet was filled with amazing gowns and here are some of the ladies and outfits that popped my eye this year!!
